Office Automation: Updates the property page of Office XP documents with archive information to help identify the document, when and why it was changed and also the location of the master archive in SourceSafe.
Office Automation Main Features:
The property page will be updated to include the following:
Path to the archive in SourceSafe
Version number of file
Title of file - this is the same as the SourceSafe add comment
Modify date - this identifies the date when the file was added to SourceSafe
Modify author - the name of the user who performed the last update
Modify comment - this is the same as the SourceSafe check in comment
In addition to the above, the property page will contain a reference to the task that was used to modify the item. This only appears if Task Automation is also activated.
If your drive is NTFS drive then this program will update document properties of all OLE container documents. If your drives are not NTFS then only Office XP documents are updated.
