    Customer Reviews:
  • Very good coffee press for the money
I just received this yesterday and it's very close to the higher priced brand in quality. It doesn't have to do much as far as making coffee is concerned (keeping the grounds out of the brew). I made some coffee in it and I'm quite satisfied. I guess the proof will be in how long it holds up.

  • Very good coffee press
I've been using this for several months, and I've been really pleased with this coffee press. It has solid construction, and the coffee has much better flavor than through the coffee maker. I think you keep much more of the flavor from the beans, and you end up with a nice frothy layer on the top of your coffee. I've ended up with a little sediment at the bottom of my cup of coffee, but it could be that I'm grinding the coffee too fine. I usually stir the water/grounds with a teaspoon while it's seeping, and this seems to get more of the coffee out of the beans. Overall, a very good value.

  • Oh my God! How delicious is this!!!!
I just received my french press today along with some Rocamojo Organic French Roast Coffee. It is by far the best cup of coffee I have ever had. The french press makes coffee that tastes smooth, creamy UN-burnt, and WOW what a buzz. I didn't realize how quickly it would hit my system and since it was so good, I drank it fast. I felt a buzz pretty quickly and it was delicious! Mine didn't come with directions so I printed out the product page here on Amazon and it was a breeze.

  • Very impressed with this coffee press
This is the first French Press that we have purchased. It will make about 3-4 US cups of coffee. Overall, the flavor from the press is much better than we have from our old coffeemaker.

It is easy to use, although a little difficult to clean -- we use a nylon brush with a round head to get all the grounds out, and a fair amount of water. It doesn't take that long to clean, but it does take a little longer than cleaning out a coffeemaker. IMO, the little extra time is worth it for the difference in coffee.

I would definitly recommend getting your own coffee and grinding it right before use. We've experimented with different coffee varieties and found that there is a big difference in how long the coffee has been ground with this press.

  • Does What It Should
Nice quality and design... just like the more expensive brands. This type of coffee maker makes the best coffee since all the oils are included in the final product... better than drip any day... creamy and delicious.
