I just bought this stroller in Mint from a local store about 2 weeks ago b/c it got such rave reviews online and b/c it's so light. We're now on vacation and I noticed a few major problems with this stroller. First, I cannot get things into or out of the stroller basket! I mean, this is ridiculous! I cannot fit my reasonably-sized diaper bag into the bottom basket. Second, I cannot open the child tray with one hand. What would happen if I had a sleeping baby in one arm? No hand could possibly maneuver the button and open the tray with hand. Also, the tray doesn't open fully. It's awkward. Thirdly, this stroller is NOT a one-handed close. It is difficult and sticky to click both handles and pull the lever to close it. Fourth, what is with the 5-point harness? The harness does not stay attached to the back of the seat. I understand that it's not supposed to REMAIN attached while the child rides along, but it doesn't even stay attached long enough to allow me to get my squirmy toddler in the seat and belted. Fifth and finally, I was closing the tray today after my son finished lunch and the tray was wet and the "Pliko P3" writing in write on the front of the tray RUBBED OFF!!! Are you kidding????? I paid $300 for this stroller!!! I would take it back but it's not the store's fault that this stroller is poorly designed! Not to mention that I bought it specifically to take to Hawaii and now I am here and the stroller is the only one I have with me and I have to use it and now it's dirty and used. I had my heavy-duty Graco for almost 2 years and nothing rubbed off nor did I have no many troubles using it alone. Not to mention the Pliko's pathetic excuse for a CUPHOLDER!!!! It's placement makes easy steering almost impossible when there's a drink in it.
<br />Rubbing off????? It's 2 weeks old!!
<br />I am giving 3 stars b/c it IS so light and pretty easy maneuver one-handed. I also like the color, the general appearance, the 5-point harness feature (although I do not like how it doesn't stay attached to the chair) and the deep shade over the seat for when he sleeps, also the toddler step in back for another kid. Next time, I think I will spend WAY less and get just as good a stroller. I really think you're paying for a name brand here.
This stroller outweighs others in its class by comparison

Ok, I had the Maclaren Techno XT, and returned it for this stroller which FAR OUTWEIGHS the Maclaren. This is slightly bigger than the XT, which I purchased for its compact size. But really we don't notice the difference. My child sleeps well in this stroller when needed and that is heaven for me. The local baby gear store in my hometown graciously took the Maclaren back because I could not justify its $270 price tag. I was always annoyed with it and its lack of user-friendliness for the price tag. My husband couldn't use it because he's 6'3" and kept kicking the back when walking with it. SO THE PLIKO ROCKS. The best thing vs. the Maclaren is it truly has a one handed recline which is so easy and it has a REMOVABLE tray that lock in front which is nice and secure for your little one (holds a bottle too). It also sports much more undercarriage storage- is much easier to fold up and open then the Maclaren. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. It also has what I consider to be better quality rubber wheels than the maclaren. I am not crazy about some of the "cheap feeling" plastic parts, but so far we've had no issues. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the high price. It retailed for $289 at Segals for Children where I bought it (Beaverton, Oregon), and the nice people there did an even swap for the Maclaren I returned. Love those guys! Plus there are at least 10 color palettes of this stroller to choose from. We got the Ambra/orange color.
