After owning a higher end iPAQ and not using most of its functions, I appreciate the simplicity and size of the Z22. For display purposes, I would suggest changing the bold setting to normal. Much more text fits on the screen and it is still readible. Battery life is great assuming you don't use alarms. Pointing accuracy with the stylus is not perfectly accurate but it is good enough. I'd recommend getting the Air Case. Looks a bit cheap when it arrives but works very well. --2006-12-20 I have had this handy little device for well over a year and shes still tickin. I keep everthing in it from Doctor appts to bill due dates, schools schedules... it even offers password protection so that you can keep all of your most important info safe and secure. Even if it breaks tomorrow (I hope not but... if it does) I would purchase another right away, no questions asked =0) --2006-12-19 My third Z22 just quit. Lasted longer this time, nearly 7months. The first two lasted just 4 months each. When they work, they are just the answer for me. However, I'm through totally with any thing Palm. --2006-12-18 This is my third Palm that I have owned. The first one (purchased as a refurbished unit) lasted me over a year, and I bought this one when I temporarily lost my Palm m125. Color is a nice addition. I color-code everyone's schedule and then do a screen-capture to print out our weekly schedule in block format (it would be nice if the desktop program did this--it only prints weekly schedules in list format). While I like the color screen, I find it very hard to use Graffiti writing on this unit (and I prefer the old version of Graffiti over the new). There are places on my screen where taps or writing are "shifted." For instance, I'll be drawing straight, horizontal lines in the notepad application, and the lines will suddenly curve down as I approach the right side of the screen. I've also had to learn how to offset taps when using buttons in the calendar application. For text input, it is almost impossible to write a lower-case "h." I either get "n" or nothing. I have seen similar issues listed on other websites that review PDAs, so I don't think these issues are unique to my unit. It's a shame that such an affordable unit that does everything I need is so hard to use. --2006-12-12 I love the Palm Z22! I am a full time working mom, constantly trying to juggle a very busy schedule. I use to carry a bulky daily organizer. This is so much better! It has been a life saver. It is very easy to use. My favortie part is the Splash Shopper. Brilliant! When I make a quick stop at the store, I always have my shopping list with me. Then, to be able to color coordinate the schedule so I know at a glance what is going on each day- wonderful!
