My child outgrew it too quick

After six weeks, my son outgrew this. It's great for newborns...it kept him quiet when I took a shower and is great for putting it right outside the door but now he's two months and is too big for it. He's average weight and height.

I have been using this from when our baby was a newborn to almost five months and she has really liked it a lot. I do put rolled up towels under each side to add support and now that our daugher is almost five months old she prefers to be lying down in it flat.

When selecting products for my registry, the Eddie Baur "B" collection caught my eye! I loved the natural colors, so I decided to buy the whole set! After researching this product, I decided on purchasing the Deluxe Activity Rocker made by Combi for my house, and decided to leave the Eddie Baur Soothihg Bouncenette at my parents and in-laws. I figured even though this product did not have the greatest reviews, it will not be used everyday! However, this bouncenette is useless! My little one is only 2 months old and does not fit in it anymore, and he is an average infant! There is no support for the baby; I have been putting blankets underneath him and beside him to make it a little more comfortable! I am also afraid to leave my baby's side when he is in the bouncennette of fear that it will collapse! I am returning the Eddie Baur Bouncennttes, and will be purchasing the Deluxe Activity Rocker by Combi! At least this way, I know my baby will be safe!!!

I received this chair as a gift from my in-laws during my second pregnancy. After reading the online reviews, I was skeptical, paritcularly since we already own TWO bouncy chairs (Combi activity rocker and the Summer Fold-Up Infant Seat).

<br />I have to say that the zip up mesh function has turned out to be a huge unexpected benefit since our two year old loves to play outside. The super light weight chair is very easy to carry outside and the mesh allows me to not worry about bugs getting on the baby.

<br />The white noise function is very nice, but the vibration as several people have pointed out is far too weak. It is so weak that we actually have another bouncy chair in our living room, right next to this one, to use when we need to distract the baby.

<br />Several people have mentioned the lack of head support. We solved that, as we have with most of our other baby products, by simply putting a head support pillow in there.

<br />Finally, as a sort of mini-bassinette, this product worked really well, particularly in the first few weeks.

<br />I'm really not sure that I would have spent the $50 on this for myself, but I am getting more use out of this than I expected.
