This mechanical acreage counter features an aluminum mounting bracket and a redesigned counter. The bracket provides constant gear meshing, but allows the counter to count only when the planter is planting. The counter displays to 1/1000th (.001) of an acre and allows the counter gear to be secured to the counter with a locknut, preventing gear spin-off.
