Customer Reviews:
Super coffee, no muss, no fuss. I just had this for a few days, but I'm hooked already! This is great for a household where one person drinks regular coffee and another decaf, so you can't brew a big pot for both (or don't have time in the morning). Also great when company comes...everyone can pick their own pod. Unit is sturdy and well-made. The cool blue lighting is neat, especially at night. I've read other coffeemakers make cool coffee...not this...the water is steaming hot, and the temp can be adjusted to some extent. The coffee is nice and strong: today I made an "Extra Bold" brew from Green Mountain at the Mug setting, and it was strong, yet nice and smooth. The wide selection of pods available is great, and the variety you get with it is nice, but there isn't as much for decaf drinkers. Highly recommended. --2006-12-21QUICK, NO MESS & DELICIOUS COFFEE I have had the Keurig now for about 3 weeks and I love it. I started out with a Senseo (which is now at my work.) Then I was looking into a Tassimo and read the reviews and people kept refering to the Keurig and I had not heard of it before. I went online and looked into the Keurig and I was satisfied with the reviews and the wide selecetion of coffees and teas. I gave it a shot and I love it. It is very fast and simple and there is absolutely no clean up. --2006-12-21Weak Coffee Don't waste your money on a pod coffee maker.
This model and others (commercial office machine) makes weak coffee.
I stop using mine and gave it away.
You might try another system but I went back to my electric drip coffee maker.
--2006-12-16Im VERY fussy and Keurig is the BEST! I purchased this with much doubt after trying "pod" coffee such as Senseo and the Black and Decker mess. Pod coffee to me tastes like hot dish water but this Keurig B60 Special Edition using K-cups is the BEST! I couldnt believe it, I had almost given up of "instant" brew systems.
In less than a minute I get hot, fresh and strong coffee. If you like strong coffee this is for you, but make sure when you purchase the K-cups you get them "bold" or "extra bold". But of course you can purchase light and medium roast coffees as well.
I bought this from Bed, Bath and Beyond and I asked the salesman how many returns they have received from Keurig vs. Tassimo. He informed that that the Tassimo is returned very, very frequently and he hasnt seen no more than a handfull of the Keurig. This sold me!
This system is the best so far. I would give it 10 stars if they had the option.
--2006-12-15The future of home brewing ... The Keurig is the future of home brewing coffee! Weve had the b60 for a year now, and we still get excited about the morning coffee. (throughout the day coffee since we got the Keurig) If the .38 cent/cup
only saved us from cleaning the old coffee maker parts
every day, it would be well worth it, but since we always have about 10 flavors to choose from, and the taste is better than any drip machine could produce, the Keurig is a no brainer. i think its just a matter
of time before everyone else realizes whats going on in the world of single cup coffee, before these machines will be on every counter in the land, and we'll be buying our k cups at the local supermarket ... --2006-12-15
