• TIP OVER DANGER!!! 2006-06-04 Like most of the other reviewers we loved this stroller when we bought it. It was great for maneuvering around tight areas, especially small elevators! Curbs and bumpy sidewalks were no problem. My son just turned 2 and is 3 feet tall. He still fits well in the stroller but as he has grown it has become more and more unstable. With the brakes locked and the stroller sitting on a flat surface it has TIPPED OVER TWICE AND NEARLY TIPPED OVER A THIRD TIME! All while my son was strapped in!! The last time my son hit his head on the concrete!! He could have been seriously injured!! The wheel base is just too short for the height of the stroller. Add a toddler reaching out of it and you have a potentially very dangerous situation!! I gave it two stars because it worked great when he was a baby. It was just what we needed. Now, it's another piece of junk taking up space in our garage!!
This Jeep Rocks 2006-05-31 My son is 21 months old and he is a big boy and he basically was out growing his Graco Literider (I love this stroller as well) and we go shopping a lot and to the Zoo so we still needed a good stroller for him. We were shopping at Toys r us in the babies r us section and my son went crazy for this stroller. He now loves to ride in the stroller everywhere we go and for our walks at night. I love this stroller is was super easy for my husband to put together and it rides so smooth and quiet. It is big but I have a minivan so that is not a problem at all. We love this stroller and I only wish that we had bought this sooner rather than later. I will continue to use this stroller until we can use it no more. I do not mind that the tires are not air filled and I like that is does not have a lot of technology on it because it makes is just a great simple stroller that my son loves!! I absolutely loves the color scheme and it is so easy to clean. My son actually threw up in it one evening while we were out and I took it home and cleaned it up with some warm water and soap and it looks brand new still.
The best stroller!! 2006-05-26 I have used this stroller almost exclusively with my son since he was 4 days old. I have a travel system also but only used it 1 time.

The Jeep is easy to fold, though it is a bit heavy, and fits easily in the car. I love the big basket under the stroller and the saddle bags are great. The sun shade is big and provides good coverage. The little "sunroof" is perfect for peaking in on a sleeping baby. The seat reclines fully but it is a little difficult to sit completely upright. As noted in another review, the brake does seem to slip down while strolling and make a clicking noise against the locking teeth.

My son is 9 months old and we have been everywhere in this stoller, even through the woods--not on a trail. The stroller maneuvers great and he seems to be very comfortable and enjoys to ride.

I highly recommend this stroller to everyone.
Great stroller, but we feel we got ripped off!!! 2006-05-25 This stroller itself is pretty great. However we felt totally ripped off when we thought we were buying a real all-terrain stroller. We had bought this one because our regular stroller wasn't cutting it when we went on nature walks and did outdoor things (the wheels were taking a beating). So we bought this one thinking that it had air-filled rubber tires (real all-terrain)...it doesn't come with them. So we called the company and they told us that they didn't sell any that had the rubber air-filled tires but that we could order the wheels seperatly from them. So we did and paid $40 bucks for the 3 wheels. A few weeks later we find out that they do now make it with the real all-terrain wheels, plus extra storage bags, an electric toy and a few other great accesories....the worst part is that we spent about the same total to order the extra wheels ($40) (plus the cost of the stroller itself ($100) then the newer version with the wheels and all the extra accesories costs....we were so upset about being ripped off like that!!!

On a positive note our son and us love this stroller. Now with the air-filled rubber tires it works great in the grass, over rocks and everywhere else. Our son loves the stearing wheel (that also detaches). The sun shade cover is bigger then our regular stroller and blocks from the sun more. Seat wipes clean very easily. The front wheel also locks for straight walking and then unlocks for easy turning ability.

A few negatives of course: A bit clumsy opening and closing. Heavier then our regular stroller (Eddie Bauer) and a bit difficult to get into our small Honda Civic trunk.
I LOVE MY JEEP STROLLER!!! 2006-05-24 I planned to buy the jeep umbrella stroller but I feel in love with the versitlity of this one (I have the red + black one as shown here with the non-inflatable tires) and how easy and compact it was to fold with one hand and the baby in the other and had to have it. I can also fit my graco car seat in snuggly (but it doesn't click) which is good b/c I don't have a travel system. I thought about a jogger but they are big and only good for jogging I would need another stroller. The wheel on this can pivot 360 or be locked straight so for an occassional jogger, mall shopper, sidewalk, beach, dirt road walker this fit the bill. I'm not sure the advantage to air filled tires most strollers have plastic wheels and these seem pretty rugged almost like rubber. I just put it together myself and it was a snap, literally, all the pieces snap into place. I couldn't get the 2 screws to tighten by the front wheel snap so I will have hubby check it out. We just went on our first walk today it handled great even up and down the steps to my house. The wheels seemed the perfect size to roll over them I imagine this could be difficult with other strollers. I won't know cause this is the only stroller I will own! I love the huge canopy and the steering wheel toy on the tray leaves enough room for snacks and drinks (unlike the music on the go one which has a huge battery operated sterring toy). I didn't try putting a drink in the cupholder but it looks sufficient. Basket fits a lot and easily accessible with seat down. I didn't like the colors or the bulky handle on the music on the move version and for the extra money I didn't see the value. I highly recommend this stroller!!!!!
