    Customer Reviews:
  • We love it
I purchased the tassimo last year at this time. We had tried the One to One and it was ok for a short time. We still make a full pot in our capresso in the morning but in the evening we use the tassimo. I just got 2 of the ta1200. Our office is chipping in for one and then each person will buy and keep their preference in their desk.
Ours still works the same as it did last year. I like the latte and the cappuchino. My son likes the Tazo tea, green tea, and hot chocolate. My husband loves the Maxwell House Crema and the Columbian.Target, Linens N Things and Bed Bath & Beyond have the gevalia ones. We buy the others direct from tassimo. Just leave extra time for shipping.
This machine is really simple to use. Virtually no clean up. The beverages taste really good.

  • I love it!
I can't even begin to count the number of coffee makers I've owned over the years! Always did like making lattes, etc at home and used to have one of the two unit machines that brewed and then frothed the milk... what a pain. Finally gave up and bought a POD machine a couple years ago so I could at least get a good cup of coffee. Then I came across this machine and it's perfect. I make a latte using two espresso dics and one milk and it's perfect... maybe not Starbucks, but close enough. And it's a lot cheaper and I'm doing it at home!!

  • Great machine!
    We just bought this machine.

Easy to use, fast, and the coffee tastes better than Starbucks'to me. Not as bitter.

My wife is hooked on lattes and her opinion this machine makes a better latte.

Only downside that I see is the availability of t-discs. Especially for the decaf coffee. Hard to find nearby and have to drive a while to find a store that has them. Kraft really needs to work on the distribution system for these.

  • Very good at a variety of hot drinks.
My office bought one of these for the 9 people there who all had different hot drink preferences. We all very quickly learned to use the machine and began enjoying our favorite drinks. I enjoyed it so much that I bought one for home use.

The machine is very easy to clean, with only two or three parts needing to be removed and cleaned (and you only need to do that every 20 uses or so). The parts are very easy to get to and remove, so it's a minute or two of cleaning once every two weeks.

I've had Gevalia coffee, Gevalia crema, Suchard hot chocolate, Gevalia latte, and Gevalia cappuccino. All are good, but the lattes are VERY good. They're a bit pricey (about $1 each), but compared to a coffee shop, they're much cheaper.

I still have a regular coffee maker and prepare multiple coffee servings in it, but the Tassimo is wonderful for a small office environment or for having guests over and offering an assortment of easily made hot drinks.

  • Great machine
Does a great job of making single serve coffee.

    My only complaints are:
    1) I have to ditch my super size mugs, as these t-discs make only standard sized (small) mugs of coffee (unless you want to use multiple t-discs);
    2) I wish it had the ability to load a blank t-disc with your own coffee like the Koureg can do. (I have regular coffee I'm not using anymore sitting on my shelf since I bought this machine.) :)
    3) Does anyone else's machine do this? Sometimes it gets stuck on the "heating" cycle and never turns to the "ready to brew" mode. I end up having to shut the machine off and turn it back on, and then reload the t-disc to get it to begin brewing. (It's not a question of not waiting long enough either, as I've let it heat up for over 10 minutes before resorting to shutting it off and restarting it.)

Otherwise, it's great. Easy to clean. Coffee and hot choc. are good. I like the cappucino better than the latte. The maxwell house regular coffee is good. Much better value than the gevalia for the taste in my opinion.

A great single serve coffee maker. (Don't throw out your old coffee pot if you ever plan on making large pots of coffee, though...)
