Good but Moto Gp2 was better

Moto Gp3 good but not as good as Moto Gp2 which was btter then Moto Gp1. Moto Gp1 was good at the time when first released. Then Moto Gp2 came out as was pretty much more of then same with some tweaks here and there. Moto Gp3 has the addition of street tracks. While there is nothing wrong with the concept, the reality is, the tracks at not as real to look at as those of the standard grass and tarmax tracks. So for me, Moto Gp3 represents a step backwards rather than forwards.
So, if you are looking for a bike game for your Xbox and not already own one, then your best bet is to pick up Moto Gp2. If you all readly own Moto Gp1 or Moto Gp2 then try Moto Gp3 before you buy. Moto Gp3 is a rental game only. 
May slide off track here and there, but wins in the end.

For fans of THQ's MotoGP 2, this game is essentially MGP2 with new tracks and modes added to it. There has been some tampering with MGP2's almost perfect control and customization system. There is no longer a simulation slider available for adjusting the gameplay physics. But there are difficulty settings and other customizations that can be tweaked to provide similar kinds of results. Another shortcoming is that there is no option in the Quick Race Mode to play as your personal "Custom Rider". So if you want to race as your custom rider, you have to race whatever track you happen to be on in "Career Mode", or go online and play on Xbox Live.
The good news is that the developers have retained nearly everything in MotoGP 2 and just added to it. All of the 17 tracks were carried over from MGP2 and are in a single mode called Grand Prix Mode. There are 16 new fictional street tracks in the Extreme Modes. These new tracks almost play like a different game altogether. The different feel to these tracks has caused some of the diehard fans to complaign that this game is more arcade like than previous installments. I felt that way myself at first. That is until I really got into the game and found that these new tracks provided the most outstanding racing I had ever played through in any game when I simply switched to the first person windshield view. I think these new tracks were carefully developed to make playing in the first person views a highly satisfactory experience. Now that I have given it a chance I am very glad that I traded in MGP2 for MGP3. If you have never played this series from THQ, but are a fan of racing games, you should know that MotoGP 3 is a top notch racing experience for fans of any genre. It really is racing at it's finest.

I already reviewed Moto GP 2. So I'm going to compare this game to that one. Moto GP 2 is my fav XBOX game ever. So I had hoped that this game would be better or at least as good. The problem is that I'm so used to Moto GP 2. I didnt realize how attached I was to it until I played GP 3. I miss certain things like the engine sounds and other stuff. This game is good, dont get me wrong. But if you're used to playing GP 2 then it'll take some getting used to. You have to unlock bikes as you progress. You can actually customize the bikes more now and buy parts. I still think I liked GP 2 better. I was all hyped to get the new one but I wasnt blown away like I thought I'd be. The new race highlights are pretty good though. If you haven't played GP 2 then you cant just throw everything I've said here out of the window. Its practically the same game but with a few tweaks, so you might as well call it Moto GP 2.5. I'd still rather play GP 2 than the new one. GP 2 spoiled the heck out of me. I still haven't played a better racing simulation for XBOX.

Moto Gp 3 was worth all the wait, the graphics have been tuned up as well as the game types and customization!!! must have!!
