Nice to have a spare set

This is great to have as a spare set for your Medela electric pump in case parts wear out or you just want a second set while cleaning the first. The microsteam bags are great for disinfecting parts. They can also be purchased seperately for $4.99 for a bag of 5 which can be used up to 100 uses, 20 per bag.

I love the Medela breast pump. It was easy to order the extra set of supplies I needed as my previous set cracked after 2 years in storage. This product is very easy to use and is durable.

Two years ago, I bought a breastpump to monitor the amount of milk that my daughter was drinking at each feeding. I purchased this Breastpump Accessory Set for use with my Pump In Style once my son was born. I wanted to be sure that I was using brand new equipment, (not that I had to, but it was my preference). The only thing I have a problem with is that they don't include the two tubes in this package. Luckily, I was aware of that when I purchased this "set" and went elsewhere to get the new tubes. I would have paid a little more to have EVERYTHING included.
<br />As for another review stating that the nipples are a great transition from the breast - NOTE: This set does not include nipples. (that review could be misleading)

If you are buying an electric Medela breast pump, you will need at least two of these sets unless you want to be washing and boiling the parts everyday. It is nice to have a few extra shields on hand so that you don't have to be as quick to keep up on having the one set clean all the time. (Trust me, being new to motherhood myself, I have many other distractions to worry about than vigorously keeping up on cleaning the parts!)
