My baby LOVES his Snuggle Nest

My son is 7 weeks old and has been using the Snuggle Nest in my bed since he was 3 weeks old. He loves his Snuggle Nest and began sleeping 3-4 hours at a time the very 1st night in it. We now use it in combination with the Swaddle Me wrap and the techniques I learned in the free Happiest Baby on the Block DVD that came with our Snuggle Nest. Thanks to this wonderful combo our 7 week old baby sleeps through the night (7-8 hrs). This is my 3rd baby and the 1st I used a Snuugle Nest or swaddling with and he is the 1st to sleep so well so early. If I could give this product 10 stars I would. I also plan to use the Snuggle Nest when/if we transition our baby to his crib in a month or two, I am sure it will make the transition easier on him.
Not the best "nest"

I purchased this product because my husband and I co-slept with our first child but did this without any "sleeping device." For this time around I decided I wanted to purchase the Snuggle Nest for peace of mind purposes while sleeping. It was never a problem the first time, but you never know. Neddless to say, I was really excited with the Snuggle Nest and all of its features. It seemed like the perfect product. Well, in theory it is. In reality, not so much. Upon arrival home from the hospital with our daughter we tried to use the nest. Didn't work too well, in fact not at all. Our daughter didn't seem to mind laying in it, but my husband and I absolutely had no room to lay in bed. We have a queen size bed and are of normal size, but could not lay in bed at all. Let me tell you, this poses a problem, because how can you think that co-sleeping will work if you can't sleep in the bed with the device. I have to return this and wish I had listened to my husband and not bothered purchasing it. The company should really think about stating that this should only be used if you have a king size bed. It would save a lot of people a lot of hassle.

Our new baby was not sleeping well unless he was with us. I was very uncomfortable with him sleeping in our bed, BUT we were all getting more and more exhausted. A friend sent me a gift certificate to Amazon, so I decided to give this a try. It is so neat! We could let our son sleep with us without fear of rolling over on him. The LED light makes it easy to check on him without even getting up. And it comes with 2 sheets, so you always have a spare. Since we did not want him sleeping in our bed any longer than necessary, the snuggle nest made the move to the crib easier. He was sleeping in the same spot, just in his crib. It also travels well, so he feels at home wherever we are. I would highly reccomend this item for co-sleeping and a seamless transition into the crib.

love it, awesome light, peaceful sleep. The velcro cushions for positioning the baby are too big for a swaddled babies hips so I was only able to use one.
