• Stuffing not packed tight enough 2006-05-10 I got this when I was about 6.5 months pregnant after my husband said the my back was sore in the morning was that my belly was pulling it out of alignment. At first I was a bit confused as to how this pillow would help, but I managed to stuff a bit of it under my belly and it seemed to do the trick.

However, there is a lot of excess pillow not being used for support, and it takes up bed space. I'm now eight months pregnant and find that I don't need it as much as my belly is big enough to touch the bed itself when I'm lying on my side and therefore not pulling on my back. I find the stuffing to be quite loose (as in the pillow case should be sewn smaller) and it does shift and pack down - especially on the leg portion. (I am 5'2" and about 150 at this point, so I imagine it would be worse for a larger person.)

If I was doing it over again, I think I'd try the wedge instead.
it is okay.... 2006-04-16 I bought this pillow early on in my pregnancy. Although it continues to help me (I am 26 weeks now), and I still sleep with it, the stuffing has started to separate, especially in the part that goes between the legs. Also, the pillow is not long enough, I have to use an additional pillow to put my arms around and cuddle with.
Better than nothing but consider others. 2006-03-03 Before I bought this pillow I read the reviews and thought it would be a decent purchase. I first got it when I was about 4 or 5 months pregnant because my belly was already large and I needed more support under the belly and between the leggs. Now I am 34 weeks pregnant and already unhappy with it. I have never washed the pillow because I didn't want it to seperate like other users have experienced. Instead I invested in the additional slip covers and washed those. However the pillow has still come compleatly seperated under the leggs. Also now that my belly is even bigger I am finding that the stuffing has moved to the top and won't fit under me. My husband does not like the pillow (although he won't tell me so) because it is hard for him to cuddle me and it stills all his covers. In addition the pillow limits the amount of movement because it catches on the sheets and pulls everything with it, and I find that when I sleep without it my body tempurature is about 10 deg cooler and that is more comfort than the pillow.

For better hip support try the wedge. It is less expensive and doesn't seperate, but still gets the job done. For more belly support try an old fashoned feather pillow. They mold and expand as a pregnant belly does.
Makes sleeping comfortable! 2006-02-28 I got this pillow when I was about 5 months pregnant because I was needing something between my legs for my hips. I am now 39 weeks pregnant and I can't imagine sleeping without it. It makes rolling over easy and it stays between your legs so there is no need to adjust when you roll over. The part that goes under the belly provides just the right amount of support and isn't too big and bulky. I will even be taking this with me to the hospital for while laboring! I love the boppy prego pillow!
God's gift to pregnant women! 2006-02-26 I LOVE this pillow. I've had it for about two and a half months now. At first it helped me stay on my side, and was just comfy to snuggle up to. Now that my belly is getting bigger, it gives great support and doesn't let my belly "hang" down. This is great for people who don't always sleep on their sides as once you position it you are unlikely to roll over in your sleep. I've had no problem with the stuffing. If you are looking for super firm support, try a wedge. This is a pillow, and feels as such. Of course, if you are on a budget, you can always just use a regular pillow, but if you want to pamper yourself the unique shape of this pillow makes it extra comfortable.

**UPDATE** I'm now 8 months pregnant and love my pillow! Mine came covered in a zippered cover, so that is what I wash. Every few nights, I just grab the larger part and shake it HARD until the stuffing falls down, then fluff it and it is as good as new. I also like that, yes, it does take up some room, but no where near as much room as many pregnancy pillows. All in all, whether you like this pillow or not will come down to personal choice.
