  • the good game 2005-04-02 I think this game gets you out of the sofa and into a reality world were you do whatever you want.
solid, but I've played better gba games 2005-01-12 This was quite fun, however the technology and gameplay were inferior to the independent product by the name of Karnaaj. Plus at $8.99 you can't beat that price. For anyone that is a fan of this title and racing in general I would recommend this as well.
Grand Theft Auto..for the Gameboy Advance...'bout time.... 2004-12-15 We've all been looking for(the often rumored) Grand Theft Auto for the Gameboy Advance and, now, after a long wait- we finally have it. Despite the reviews I've read all over the internet and even a certain gaming magazine on the game(which weren't favorable, let me tell you); I found the game to be pretty awesome(especially considering what the GBA can do). It amazes me how they were able to make the place so HUGE in the game...but they did it. Played in the vein of the classic PSone games, Grand Theft Auto has found a good avenue on the Advance. You can explore Liberty City, find dozens of vehicles to drive, choose from hundreds of side missions, even go on rampages to blow away your enemies and earn points by doing it in a set amount of time. Like the product description states, Grand Theft Auto brings the thrills of the classic GTA gaming series to your Game Boy Advance....big time. You'd be a fool to miss this pocket version. It's just as much fun as all the other games. It is, definitely, a must for all GTA fans. Trust me.
I hope that Rockstar and Take2 Interactive decide to continue the series on the system. It'd be a big seller, I assure you.
GTA for GBA 2004-11-28 Returning to the games roots, this game feels alot like the old PC/PS1 game.It has better graphics, and it isn't GTA 3,Vice City,or San Andreas(How do the port a game that has a huge memory? Its impossible to port 3,Vice City,or San Andreas,so don't go"Oh yeah, iwish they ported vicecity instead of gta3!")
Anyway,if you have a GBA,get this game because on GBA,there aren't much games that make people feel so bad@$$.
Really not much fun at all 2004-11-26 The long awaited GBA release of Grand Theft Auto finds the popular series going back to it's roots (well, more or less) with this GBA conversion. However, GBA owners who have been looking forward to this release will be disappointed considering this game isn't much fun at all. Combining the looking down view of the original GTA with some conventions of the console classic Grand Theft Auto 3, GTA Advance starts out fun as you stomp your way through Liberty City playing as a low rent thug named Mike on a mission to find the killers of your friend. Along the way you can do the various things that the GTA series is notorious for, such as stealing cars, taking out pedestrians and cops, and going on missions. Various features from GTA 3, such as the vigilante and taxi cab missions are available here, but the missions themselves aren't very fun or different from one another. Not to mention that the car physics are completely off the wall, and the controls are at their worst when driving. Finally, GTA Advance just doesn't have the same kind of sense of black humor that it's predecessors were known for. The game itself looks good and is some fun at first, but buyer beware that GTA Advance surprisingly gets old really fast.
