Bamboo is 16% harder than maple wood and 1/3 lighter than oak, and absorbs very little moisture so it doesn't shrink or swell like other hardwoods, making it a perfect material for cutting boards. This beautifully crafted board is assembled with approved food-grade glue, and doesn't contain dye, stains, or formaldehyde. Does not contain dye, stains or formaldehyde Dimensions - 6 x 10 x 3/4 Treatment - Do not place in the dishwasher. After use, hand wash in warm water with a mild detergent and pat dry. Totally Bamboo recommends oiling every 4 to 6 weeks with mineral oil to keep the board beautiful
