This 42-piece construction set prepares an imaginary site for a construction project or major road work and provides hours of play. The set provides a full convoy of eight die-cast vehicles with plastic parts and movable wheels, including a crane, cement mixer, dump truck, two excavators, a front loader, a well driller, and a flatbed trailer. A four-person road crew, equipped with tools such as shovels, a jackhammer, and a pick-axe, can be placed in areas of the site that require muscle power. A collection of barricades and barrels blocks off the work area from traffic and pedestrians, and seven traffic signs direct cars to a detour route while construction is in progress. The trucks in this set contain many small, movable parts—many of which aren’t incredibly sturdy for uncoordinated little hands to manage.
