I used it from day one and love it, i recommend this to anyone breastfeeding. I have eaten at the dinner table with it on, i work on the laptop with it on, i can leave my baby on it to sleep and be close to me with out wearing out my arms. I love the support you get in the back and the straight line support the baby gets to the breast. It is hands free breastfeeding once your baby learns how to latch on well. If you are serious about breastfeeding you need this pillow!!!

This pillow is terrific. I wish I'd had it from the very beginning! I found it when my daughter was 8 weeks old and never touched my Boppy again except to prop my daughter up when she was learning to sit up.

<br />The strap that goes around your waist is the key. It holds the pillow up next to you so that the baby doesn't slip down between you and the pillow. When you are nursing, the baby tends to slip down slowly, and my the time you relize it, the baby is on your lap with the pillow behind her and you are hunched over and sore. If you're a taller mom, you know how difficult it is to find products that can adapt to your height. I had to put a flattened pillow under the My Breast Friend to keep it to the right height better, but that was such a small price to pay! I loved that the pillow stayed where I wanted it.

<br />I am not sure if there are additional pillow cases available for the My Breast Friend, but if there are, I think it's agreat tidea to get one. It's a little tricky to get the cover off and on again, but again, small price to pay for the benefits this pillow offers.

This item is a lifesaver. I was getting frustrated with getting my almost 9lb. newborn in the correct postion. I tried pillows in the hospital and I couldn't get her right without my arms killing me midway through the feeding. I was given this pillow as a gift and it works great. It helps take the pressure off your back while your sitting up. The baby rested comfortable while feeding. The pillow saved me from just going to formula alone. I recommend it because it stays in place and does not slide down. This item is a breastfeeding must have!!!!!
Better than Boppy!

This pillow is so much better than the Boppy for nursing. It us a great platform on which to feed the baby! I hate when the cover is dirty and I have to use the Boppy!
