Ok so it can take a while to get used to some of the songs off this current album but hay! if you love incubus you will have to love this album! I have fallen in love with all of Incubus's albums but i do miss the sound of albums like "make yourself" and "S.C.I.E.N.C.E." and even "Morning View". This album may only be for a die hard incubus fan only because they have some wacky views, if anyone out there only listens to what they hear on the radio and see on free TV then i suppose this album wont be for you as it is, like i said, hard to get used to especially after the Morning View album.
Incubus just love to go in different directions don't they? but that's the beauty of them, they never do the same thing twice...unless they love it :) 
I found it to be boring, Some songs good though.

2 stars. [2.5] at best. This album was a letdown. I'm sorry, but I usually don't leave bad reviews but when I feel I have to I do. Let's get this straight right away, I am a big fan of Incubus and will always be but this album wasn't very good. When I listened to it I only actually enjoyed about half of the cd. Some of it was just boring. Other than that the songs I actually enjoy are Megalomaniac, Agoraphobia, Talk Shows on Mute, Here in my Room, A Crow left of the murder, Zee Deveel, and Suite Lines. The rest of the cd just sounds the same and can be annoying at times. If half of the cd has tracks you wanna skip through then thats not good. I'm not saying it was utterly horrible because obviously there are some people out there who really liked it, im just saying I didn't like it. This new album for Incubus just cant compare to my favorite album Make Yourself as well as Morning View. Both Cd's I thought were amazing. Loved almost every song on them. Thats how a Album should be. Sorry Incubus, maybe next time.
Incubus' Most well made album

I own all of Incubus' albums and enjoy listening to all of them. A Crow Left of the Murder was the first album i bought and the one that got me into them. While i personally enjoy the harder rock of Morning View A Crow Left of the Murder is by far the definitive example of Boyd's songwriting skills. Beware! Criminal is a sick hard rocker, Sick Sad Little World is one of Incubus' greatest songs, and Here in My Room is another great example of the band's successful experimentation. A must have for any incubus fan.

My favorite Incubus cd.. I got my friends (who like rap) into this album... Just a great cd!

One thing I love about Incubus is that for all three of the albums I have from them - Make Yourself, Morning View, and this one - is that each one, for me, represents memories of springs and summers past. Make Yourself for '01, Morning View for '02, and now, A Crow Left Of The Murder for '04. So how does this one measure up compared to the other two?
To be honest, not quite as good. I'm not saying it's bad, though. Certainly not. It's good. I like it. My personal favorites are "Megalomania", the title track, "Agoraphobia" (please note that if you're not careful, these songs can/will get stuck in your head for hours), and "Beware! Criminal". They represent Incubus in a great way; catchy, melodic, emotional rockers. Brandon Boyd's got one hell of a voice on him. The other ones, however, are really just decent in my book. I don't know... they don't really stand out to me like most of Make Yourself or some of Morning View. They're certainly not bad, but you know... yawn. They all just lack something, I guess... Anyway, 3 stars for the four I like/listen to. It's not as good as Make Yourself and Morning View, but it's still worth a spin.  Read for more: http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html%3FASIN=B...
