Customer Reviews:
It Works! Got one of these for my wife and myself. Easy to use. As far as we can tell it is very accurate. Wore it at work and amazed at how much mileage I covered in one day. Highly recommend it to anybody looking for a good pedometer. --2006-12-18Ok for walking, not good for a runner I bought this item when I first got back into running to help keep up with how far I was going. I have used it both outside and on a treadmill. It only has one setting for stride. My stride is different for a leisurely stroll, walking for exercise and jogging or running. I wore my pedometer on the treadmill. It was accurate for the leisurely stroll. It was off by 1/2 mile for vigorous walking. It was off over a mile when I jogged 3 miles. It even misses steps. Several days in a row, I ran on the treadmill, the same speed, the same distance, and the same time. The step counter read vastly different several days in a row. Needless to say, I have been dissappointed and am looking for a new product. Any suggestions? --2006-12-18Great product. I've had this pedometer for almost a year now and still use it almost everyday. --2006-12-18Great pedometer Have had other pedometers but like this one the most; it is easy to use and set up and I love having the the extra secure clip; even if it falls off of the belt clip the extra secure second clip protects it. Love it. --2006-12-15Lacks sensitivity This pedometer appears to be well made and has some interesting features. However, it suffers from a lack of sensitivity, a problem found in other units as well. What this means, is that if you jog, or come down hard on your heels when you walk, it won't miss a count. But if you walk more softly, which is what we do quite often, many of those steps wont be counted, leading you to think you walked a lot less than you thought. Omron could have done better on a unit of this price. --2006-12-14
