sweet teamptation with happy soca 2005-06-11 I love happy music and Soca seems to be a genre that is always that way for me at least. I love the single tempted to touch. it's great. I use it a lot on my morning walks.

All Vibes 2004-02-10 I'm almost tempted to say about Rupee's latest album that if listening to it doesn't make you feel good then you probably passed away not too long ago and have yet to notice it. The vibes on this one is sooooooooooo strong, and not really a dance vibe either on most of the tunes, more like a party vibe, and if you love the Carib. certainly you cna appreciate the material here. My favorite song here is incidentally, the one I'm most familiar with Tempted to Touch, which to this day I'm certain could do major damage in the US should it recieve any backing at all (ATTENTION VP). Rupee's voice isn't anything overly spectacular, he doesn't have a outstanding penchant for writing lyrics or anything either, but what he does have is the ability to ride ragga soca riddims just about as good as anyone doing it. Also check You Never Know, Festival Again, Uh Oh!, the wicked combination with Destra If You Only Knew, Enjoy Yourself with Red Rat, and DTDT as the bonus. Overall, this one is highly recommended by me, also recommended is catching a Rupee stage show if possible, his vibe on record transform well to the stage.
Sleeper album of the year, this artist should be signed to a bigger label. (ATTENTION VP)

Phenomenal 2004-02-02 This album has shown tremendous growth both in lyrics and composition. It has exceeded all expectations of sensual poetry interplayed into the genre of soca music. It is a must have track that transends all ages and cultures.

EXCELLENT!! Rupee is the Prince of Sweetness! 2003-11-05 This is a great add to any collection. Rupee captures the spirit of the Caribbean in his music beautifully! 'Skin To Skin','Tempted To Touch', and 'Uh Oh' are my favourites and will be yours to! There's no other sound in the Caribbean like Rupee. Trust me. I live here! Nice fusion of 'Pop and Caribbean'! Sweet Stuff!

GET THIS CD... then wonder why you're not visiting the Caribbean ;-).
