Okay... First, this is advertised as for kids 5 and up. The ballet slippers don't even come close to fitting my 4 year old. We actually gave the slippers to our friend with a very tiny 3 year old girl and they just barely fit. This dress will not fit my daughter in more than a year. She's tall, but she's not big around and the dress is stretched to the max and the velcro just barely touches!Second, there are supposed to be wings attached to this "butterfly" gown... Not so... Nothing like wings are a part of this. It's simply a dress with a stretchy bodice and 2 pieces of velcro in the back to fasten it.
Not so durable... Before my daughter ever wore this once - all she did was to take it out of the box - the sequins from the straps were falling off. I don't have great hopes for this lasting very long. I'd have returned it right away, but my daughter wanted to dress up like a princess in the worst way, so we kept it, and we wound up buying separate shoes.
This is not an educational toy by any means, but I don't belive it's supposed to be. It's just pure fun for kids to dress up. Too bad it's not as advertised!
