Easy Dress Up

I bought this item for my 6 year old last year and he loved it. Then my 3 year old started to share his love of superman and they had to share the costume because I could no longer find it in stores. Thank goodness I found it here so now they each have their own. I think this is better than an actual costume for everyday dress up because I don't have to hurry to get it out of the laundry daily. If they want to play they just put the chest plate, cape and belt on and thats it. No special shirt or pants have to be searched for or outgrown. My only complaint is it seems this dress up set is for slightly larger children. The belt does not fit my 3 year old but if I put it through the belt loops of his pants it works. The chest plate is adjustable and fits fine but the cape is a bit long for the 3 year old but if I twist it at the top before securing it to the chest plate it fits also. Atleast they will be able to get several years out of it. The play chain and kryptonite that come with the set are also very cute items that the kids really enjoy.

This costume is just as good as the Batman counterpart. Read my review of that for some of the pros and cons. The one thing I liked more about this costume is the sayings that come from the chest piece. They are a bit funnier than the Batman one (one saying is a groan of weakness from exposure to kryptonite; another has a sound effect of heat vision).
These costumes have real value for quite a long time provided your kid(s) like Superman (or Batman) for a long time. You never know when you need a quick costume.
