Rediculous to say the least.

Most mothers looking to buy cloth diapers for their child are not going to waste their time buying "5" diapers at a time. I used cloth diapers on all of my children throughout, and choosing anything less than around 3-4 dozen cloth diapers, per baby, would be something only an inexperienced cloth diapering mother would consider doing.
Nevertheless, all (3) of my daughters used cloth diapers on their kids, and not one of them even considered using these cloth diapers in their households. All (3) including my daughter-in-law all used ordinary pin and fold cotton cloth diapers with rubber pants and diaper pins.
They had my full support!
Great for Potty training

We switched to these when my 18 month old daughter was potty training. They are the best cloth diapers, the velcro and liners really make a difference. Not hard to launder either. Really helped our daughter take the next step in potty training since she could feel when she had an accident. She is 19 months old now and almost 100% potty trained. - Also recomend the book - Early start potty training. Not to mention how much money you save if you aren't buying diapers.
These cloth diapers are fabulous!

Cloth diapering can be painful and time-consuming. It is just not so with these amazing cloth diapers. These are like regular disposable diapers, only they come in great colors, they're extra soft flannel-cotton, and they can be reused by laundering them. The diaper rash my daughter had is GONE, and my weekly budget is much less now that I don't have to go through 100 disposables. Can sleep in them, or take them out. I'm considering getting more, so I never run out in a couple of day's time. Hey, you have to do more laundry now, anyway...do a good thing for the environment and your child. These passed my mother in law's inspection,...they're just as easy as "regular" ones.
Terrible!

I bought a 5-pack of these, in addition to the disposable liners and the extra-absorbing liners that were supposed to work overnight.
I tried them on my daughter one day, when she was 3 months old. I put an extra absorbing liner in, two disposable liners, then even added some rubber pants on the outside. Not only was the diaper so big and bulky that, if she were able to crawl, I doubt she could have, but within 2 hours she was soaking wet even through the rubber pants. And she didn't even poop!
Now that she's eating solid foods and drinking less milk, they may be more effective (I have no desire to try them again to see...), but they're supposed to be useful from birth.
I felt it was a complete waste of $75 (the diapers plus all the liner costs). I'm all for saving the environment, but if I used these I'd have to change her every hour. It may help the environment, but doing all that laundry would create a drought where I live.
great value!

I bought an eight-pack of these for my firstborn 13 years ago and I'm now using them on my second baby... talk about value! These are great, especially if you work outside the home like I did the first time around (I just had to wash them every night). Anyone can put them on your baby since they go on just like disposables. The fact that I was able to save them and can now reuse them after all these years blows my mind. I've heard great things about other brands but can't afford to try them out. So all I can say is that these are practical, useful, durable, and well-worth the initial expense. I soak them in either white vinegar or baking soda and hot water (vinegar is best for urine and baking soda is best for poop) before laundering for optimal cleanliness. I've never had either baby experience diaper rash while using these. With my first, I used one doubler and my son would last 3-4 hours before needing a change; my second son is a super-soaker so I use two doublers and a vinyl cover and check him after a couple of hours. Keep in mind that even with disposables you'll have more trouble with getting the right fit than with absorbency -- that's what Consumer Reports said in their most recent article and ratings report on disposable diapers. I've experienced blowouts and massive leakage with every brand of disposable diaper we've tried, and my second baby is quite a chunky boy, so I know CR is right. Some websites allow you to purchase a sampler package so you can try different brands of cloth diapers out and see what you like best; if I didn't have these already I probably would've tried that. Also, I would've probably bought the Ultras had they been available 13 years ago. Overall, the money saved by using these with both babies makes the initial cost seem like nothing. Plus, when you use cloth there's a higher likelihood of your child wanting to potty-train earlier (EVERY CHILD IS DIFFERENT AND THEIR MILESTONES WILL VARY).
