Where are the really good songs??
2005-08-07
I have personally counted every song used in Not Another Teen Movie in the credits, and there were 42 songs throughout the entire movie. Answer this for me: WHY ARE THERE ONLY TWELVE SONGS??????!!!!!!?!?!! About two of these songs are ALRIGHT, but it makes me mad that they didn't use some of the better songs, like the remix of " Don't You Forget About Me " and the song " Prom Tonight ". Don't buy this CD unless you like being disappointed.

Good Covers for a good Movie
2005-06-01
Yes it is kinda a corny movie, but admit it, you love "Fast Times at Ridgemont High", this is definately a spoof of that movie, and it's music...
Sure the original versions of these songs are better for the most part, but here they got mainstream artists to record new versions which for the most part rock. Marilyn Manson (I haven't been much of a fan) rules with his version of 'Tainted Love'. 'Bizarre Love Triangle' has always been a favorite (the best cover version is by Poi dog Pondering on their Audio Visivo dvd). 'I melt for you' 'Somenbody's Baby' (who can forget Fast Times?) it brings back the early college years memories!
So if like me, you were in college during the early eighties, and partied to these songs, this cd is worth buying!
Muse's Smiths Cover

Muse's cover of "Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want" by the Smiths is worth buying the entire cd. Marilyn Manson's version of "Tainted Love" kicks ass also. Rock on.
