Great Furniture for a Nursery
2006-04-26
This piece of furniture is beautiful. We are so pleased that we decided to purchase it along with the chest. Both arrived at our home in perfect condition within 1 week of placing our order. Minimal assembly involved. You won't be disappointed with this product!
Extremely Happy!
2006-04-02
We bought both the crib and the changing table/dresser, two years ago, and couldn't be happier with the quality. My husband is a cabinetmaker and said for the price, the quality is very good. The finish still looks like it did the day we bought it.
Still happy after 3 years
2006-02-08
My husband and I purchased the crib, dresser and combo unit for my son shortly after he was born. Almost three years later, we are still very happy with it. We have not had any drawer problems like the other reviewers. In fact, they glide very easily. My son still likes his crib, so we have not yet used the conversion kit, although we did purchase it with the crib. I must say that my son LOVES to jump in his crib in the morning, and it is still sturdy as ever, though the springs tend to flake paint into the drawer below. Overall, we are very happy with this set. I'm sure we will have it for long while. I just wish it had other pieces in the set, such as a bookshelf, desk/hutch, or nightstand to grow with him.
Simmons is a bit untrustworthy
2006-01-24
Simmons is known for the good quality they put out. I'll start by saying that the furniture is beautiful, but I have to mention the bad stuff.

After only one month of use, the bottom drawer on the changing table doesn't close all the way on the left side.

I've already gotten 3 splinters. One from a drawer on the chest, and two from the cabinet door on the changing table.

I've saved the worst for last. When we bought the set of 3 pieces, there was a $100 rebate, this was over 4 months ago. Since then, I've received a letter from Simmons telling me that I never sent them the receipt. So after talking to someone at Simmons, I faxed them the copy of what I sent them originally plus ANOTHER copy of the receipt. Now they claim I never sent them the fax. We faxed them again, and we're still waiting for our rebate. I plan to call them again tomorrow. I get the feeling that they are going to give me the run around once again.

So I give 4 stars for nice furniture, but I have to take away 2 of those stars for the royal screw job I recieved from Simmons.
Drawers aren't the Best
2006-01-10
I have been completely happy for 16 months until just a few weeks ago...one of the drawers on both the chest and changing table won't close completely. It feels like they aren't sliding right. I don't know what's up. For the price I expected more!!!
