Now That's What I Call Christmas!

The title doesn't lie, even if it does sounds like a hyperbolic pitch from an old late-night cable TV ad. With 36 tracks of various genres spread over two discs, Now That's What I Call Christmas might be the best, most eclectic "value-plus" holiday record ever released, assuming your tastes embrace crooners such as Cole, Crosby, and Como, plus contemporary boy bands such as Boyz II Men, as well as the ubiquitous Britney Spears.

In between there are the sumptuous classics by Bobby Helms, Brenda Lee, the Beach Boys, Elvis, and Burl Ives on disc one, balanced on disc two by more recent standards, including Bruce Springsteen's live version of "Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town" and John and Yoko's "Happy Xmas (War is Over)." Only Disk one is good.
Was not pleased with the CD's. Disk one is good, but Disk 2 does not have 1 good song in it.

First Disc is great, second disk is already outdated
I don't recommend this compliation. The first disk is great, but they could have done better with the second CD. The "modern" songs already sound outdated; they're not classics and probably never will be. Just listen to the sample tracks.

Wonderful intro To Christmas Treasures ~ MEHDl
I've always enjoyed great christmas music and this album is no exception, but while reading some of the customer recommendations posted on this site I discovered "Christmas Treasures" by MEHDl (pronounced meddie). After an online search I found their site (S00THINGMUSIC,C0M) and listened to the samples...
I was instantly blown away by the unique renditions of all my Christmas favorites and so I gave it a try.I am so glad to have found this wonderful music that I just had to share it. It's so unique that people at work have asked me "where did you get that from"?

I have both Christmas Treasures 1 & 2 in my multi-disc CD player and love the way it compliments my current holiday collection. I highly recommend that you give this artist a try or atleast just go listen to the samples, I have a feeling you'll be glad you did.

Have yourself a merry Christmas.. and order this cd :).. GREAT mixture of all the holiday classics by new and old artists. Bring back the holiday memories with these great jingles.. i know i would :).

I've LOOKED far and wide for a GOOD Christmas CD!!!
Not only is this a GOOD Christmas CD, but these ARE BY FAR the GREATEST Christmas CDs that I've even owned!!! I kept buying CD after CD of Christmas Music and then one of my friends bought me this one, because I was complaining about not finding or owning any GOOD Christmas CDs!! I've played this CD religiously since I've gotten it on our home stereo, so it can be heard all through our house, while we're decorating and cooking and preparing for the Holidays!!
