I thought it was a great movie, but not the best in the Pokemon collection. In (THE GHOST OF MAIDEN'S PEAK) Ash, Misty, and Brock find themselves in a festival marking Summer's end. Brock is disappointed because he has to wait a whole year to meet a girl. He then spots a beautiful girl on the docks. Team Rocket is hanging around when James spots the girl too. Pikachu sees that the girl is a Pokemon. Later, Team Rocket is searching for a way to get rich. Brock runs into an old lady whose name is never revealed. She tells James and Brock that a horrible fate is waiting for them. During the festival, a man shows a crowd a painting of the maiden. He explains that the maiden is waiting for the one she loves. James and Brock notice that the girl in the painting is the same girl they both seen earlier. The man tells them that she is over 2,000 years old. Later at the shrine, Jessie and Meowth plans to steal the painting. James wants to stay and look at the statue of the maiden. Brock too, stays while Ash and Misty leave for the festival and tell Brock that they are staying at a nearby Pokemon Center. Later that night, Brock and James are both hypnotized by the ghost of the maiden. The next morning, they find James and Meowth at the shrine where the old woman tells them the legend and offers to sell them " ghost stickers " to repel the ghost. It doesn't work and they soon find the ghost is the Pokemon Gastly. In (Bye Bye Butterfree) It's Butterfree mating season when Team Rocket steals all of the Butterfree including the pink Butterfreee that Ash's has fell in love with. Ash's Butterfree is rejected at first by this beautiful one, but changes its mine when Butterfree and Pikachu stop Team Rocket's efforts. Ash and the gang wave farewell to the Butterfree and Brock notices that Ash has helped Butterfree grow as he too has grown. In (Abra and the Psychic Showdown) Ash has arrived in Saffron City and after Team Rocket tries to steal Pikachu, a small girl saves Pikachu and Teleports them to the Saffron City gym. A man tells them it is the home of Sabrina, the Saffron Gym Leader. A young man shows them to the stadium and Ash sees the small girl, only to find it's a doll. Sabrina was controlling it. The doll says that if Ash loses, he'll have to play with her. Ash accepts as they begin an all-out one-on-one match. Sabrina chooses Abra and Ash chooses Pikachu. At first, Abra sits idle. Ash tells Pikachu to use Thundershock. Abra teleports and evolves into Kadabra. Misty tells Ash it's not against the rules for a Pokemon to evolve during a battle. Ash tells her that it is against the rules to Teleport out of the stadium and tells Pikachu to fill the whole stadium with electricity. Kadabra uses its psychic powers to use the blast against Pikachu. It connects and Kadabra uses Confusion to make Pikachu dance. It then uses Psychic and hurles Pikachu up to the ceiling and back down again. Ash forfeits and Sabrina turns them into dolls. The strange man Teleports them from the gym and tells Ash to catch a Ghost Pokemon from Lavender to have a chance against Sabrina.
