Now you can avoid getting bogged down with daily details and sprinkler scheduling thanks to the Gardena water computer. This handy device attaches directly to your outdoor spigot and gives you complete control of your sprinklers, pop-up sprinklers, and drip-head irrigation systems. Programming the water computer is relatively easy. You simply enter the start time, watering duration, and watering days or cycles; the computer does the rest. Up to six different programs for six separate watering lines can be entered at once to provide watering periods of up to nine hours and 59 minutes. In addition, the program unit can be removed from the computer with the click of a latch, allowing you to do the programming from the comfort of your home before reattaching it to the base. A hose connector is also included for easy coupling without a lot of tedious twisting. The unit uses one 9-volt alkaline battery (not included). It can also be used in conjunction with the Gardena electronic rain sensor or soil moisture sensor.
