I've tried virtually every Junior League Cookbook from the West Coast and this ranks up there with the best. It's fresh, simple and of the three recipes I've made they are all "keepers". My friends all endorse the book too as they are on the receiving end of my cooking. Look forward to making more dishes from this great cookbook in the weeks to come.
Very Disappointed

This book was a big disappointment to me. It is a hodge podge of poorly devised recipes. It doesn't really have an index and it's hard to utilize!
I have a Junior League cookbook from Flint, Michigan entitled Tested, Tried and True that I have used for years and years.
It is a much better book, is spiral bound instead of the book bound of the seattle book, and it's just easier to use and has the individual person's name next to their contribution!
I hate the rain book....it definitely rained on my parade!

This is one of my favorite cookbooks. Beautifully presented, with easy to make recipes that won't disappoint. A couple of favorites are the maple glazed pork tenderloin and the Rustic Chicken. Tasty dishes with easy to find ingredients. Will be using this for years to come.

We got it for Christmas this year. It is without a doubt the best new addition to our cookbook library in years. Recipes are not too complicated & delicious. We have friends that are also enjoying it. Just try the Zesty Chicken soup on page 65 - you will be hooked!
